POSITION SUMMARY:   

This position serves:  Lincoln High School, Fort Morgan Middle School, Baker Elementary School and the District Support Center.  Responsible for promoting academic school achievement for all culturally and linguistically diverse students and high needs families in Kindergarten through 12th grade by serving as a liaison between families, schools and the community. Facilitate positive family-school relationships in collaboration with school administration and staff to implement a comprehensive parent and student engagement program to support students’ social and academic success. Works to engage students and families to participate and contribute to their school community.  Translate information in Spanish, both verbally and in writing.

Works primarily in an indoor setting in various size spaces with varied numbers of diverse adult, student, patron, and citizen populations.  Must have the ability to maintain sufficient hand/eye coordination and manual deterring in order to utilize keyboard, and other office equipment; sufficient visual acuity to recognize words, letters, and numbers.
